	Dates for 2008 and 2009: - May 30th to June 1st 2008 - May 29th to May 31st 2009 Situated on the banks of the Loire River, in the center of a region rich in history and magnificent chateaux, Tours, ï¿½ Jardin de la France ï¿½, and its suburbs have three hundred thousand inhabitants. At the end of May, Tours has been the site of one of the world's largest choral gatherings, for thirty-six years. ï¿½THE 2008 COMPETITIONS

	National Competition (2007): 6 French choirs have been selected, coming from PARIS (3 ensembles), TOULOUSE, Lï¿½HAY-les-ROSES and LYON. International Competition (2007): 14 choirs came from 13 countries (China, Cuba, Spain, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Moldavia, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Russia, Sweden and Taiwan R.O.C.). The 2007 Juryboard consisted of 12 international experts coming from the following countries : Argentina, China, France, Hungary, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. read more
