For the national competition of 2018, the Florilège Vocal de Tours commissioned a work to the italian composer and choir director Lorenzo Donati. This work was to be worked with the french choirs and sung in public at the end of the Renaissance program of the international competition.

This is how Mignonne was born. It has been first sung in the beautiful Saint-Julien church in Tours on June 2nd 2018.

The result was a magical experience for the choirs and the public.
